VAD is currently seeking a Warehouse Manager at our Charlotte, NC Branch.
General Summary
The role of Warehouse Manager is responsible for performing duties related to stocking, inventory, and material control. This position is responsible for ensuring sufficient inventory and daily deliveries are accurate and managed to fulfill customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee warehouse functions to ensure order fulfillment meets 100% customer satisfaction; must maintain ability to receive, stock, pack, and ship orders in a fast paced environment.
- Provide assistance when necessary to loud and unload trucks daily; maintain logs of all products shipped.
- Ensure vehicles are maintained and housekeeping standards are met in the warehouse, outside storage area, and truck lot.
- Receive incoming materials, unpack and check shipment(s) against bill of lading(s), packing slip(s), and other documentation.
- Oversee inventory process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage and direct workflow of warehouse associates and local drivers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Excellent attitude and commitment to superior customer service.
- Excellent skills in planning, organization, and time management.
- Strong leadership, motivation, and coaching skills with a focus on people and results
- Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular, reoccurring basis.
- Proactive initiative and resourcefulness to solve problems and seize opportunities.
- Previous similar working experience, specifically in HVAC field with parts and supplies knowledge a plus.
