Description:
The Branch President is responsible for the overall performance of the branches in Ingleside and Aransas Pass and will be the primary “face” of the branch in the community. They lead and direct business development, sales management and the overall direction of the branch. They work with the Operations Manager to develop new deposit and loan business; provides superior level of customer service, and promotes a sales culture through mentoring and coaching. Oversees the Operations Manager’s implementation of human resource strategy that involves cultivating a solid team and leadership according to ValueBank Texas’ core values and mission statement ensuing optimum customer and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Business/Sales Development:
· Maintains strong collaborative relationships across lines of business
· Prospects and develops deposit growth, credit portfolio, product sales including, Merchant Services and Business Solutions
· Professionally maintains a presence in the community and engages centers of influence to gain bank exposure by volunteering on boards and committees
· Delivers superior customer service to potential and current customers
· Typically functions as a Commercial Lending Officer, with all such responsibilities
Coaching/Mentoring:
· Provides direction for OM, sets goals, and oversees goal execution
· Manages and effectively communicates with their team to improve performance
Performs other job-related duties or special projects as assigned
Requirements:
· College degree preferred and/or relevant years of experience may substitute at discretion of management
· Generally 5-10 years’ experience in banking market development and management
· Ability to manage and lead a diverse team in a sales culture environment
· Ability to execute strong time management skills
· Ability to effectively communicate, innovate, inspire, all with a servant leadership mentality
