Value Build Homes is a build-on-your-lot home builder dedicated to providing affordable and high-quality new construction homes to North and South Carolina residents. Through the stages of property evaluation, selecting from ready-made home designs, and watching their dream home be developed from the ground up, every buyer receives the best service and experience with our Sales and Construction team.
Specifically, our New Home Consultants advocate for customers, provide expert guidance, and support every home buyer through the decision-making process of constructing a new home. Our growing team is looking to add a New Home Consultant to our locations in Wilmington, NC, Asheboro, NC, and Rock Hill, SC. Key Responsibilities:
- Actively engage with homebuyers to understand their needs and guide them through the home selection and purchasing process.
- Have a robust understanding of the home building opportunities through Value Build Homes to demonstrate the quality, value, and unique features of our ready-made home designs.
- Respond to and engage with leads, active buyers, and team members in a timely manner.
- Conduct marketing initiatives and community outreach to develop and maintain relationships with clients and local realtors.
- Assist clients with the necessary paperwork and facilitate smooth transactions from start to finish.
- Oversee the maintenance and presentation of the community’s model home/sales center.
- Stay informed about the local real estate market, competitive properties, and industry trends.
Role Requirements:
- Has a positive attitude, is trainable, and is driven to succeed.
- Able to work 5 days a week onsite, which includes Saturdays. Work days are 9am - 5pm, and team members have Sundays and an additional day off during the week.
- Attend remote, biweekly sales meetings with the team on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- Willingness to travel to Sanford office location for meetings and training opportunities, typically once a month.
- Ability to travel periodically to connect with buyers at their properties.
- At least 2-5 years of experience in sales and customer service is required.
- Proficient computer knowledge/skills (i.e., MS Office Suite such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
What We Offer:
This is a W2 position that offers an hourly pay of $20 per hour. Every sale secured after the first sale of the month receives a commission of $4,500. New Home Consultants have an estimated earning potential of $120,000 . Bonus opportunities available.
