Position Summary:
The Manager of Network Engineering will lead the design, implementation, and management of the firm s networking infrastructure, including global WAN/SD-WAN, advanced routing (BGP, OSPF), QoS optimization, and public cloud connectivity. The role requires a combination of hands-on technical expertise and strategic leadership to support a secure, resilient, and scalable network environment.
Key Responsibilities:
<>Network Design & ManagementOversee global WAN operations for scalability and high availability
Lead deployment and lifecycle management of SD-WAN technologies
Design and maintain network infrastructure utilizing BGP, OSPF, and other advanced routing protocols
Optimize enterprise Wi-Fi systems across firm locations
Design and manage cloud connectivity solutions in Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS
Ensure seamless integration between on-premise infrastructure and public cloud environments
Implement and maintain QoS (Quality of Service) policies for application performance optimization
Proactively monitor latency, bandwidth usage, and network performance metrics
Lead, mentor, and manage a distributed team of network engineers
Align team activities with broader IT and business goals
Promote professional development and a collaborative team culture
Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for network engineering
Evaluate emerging technologies and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure maximum uptime, performance, and security of network systems
Define monitoring standards, disaster recovery plans, and compliance controls
Serve as the escalation point for critical network issues
Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to align strategies and resolve issues
Lead network-related initiatives and deployments
Deliver projects on time, within scope and budget
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field
Professional certifications preferred (e.g., CCNP, CCIE)
7 years of hands-on experience in network engineering
4 6 years of leadership or managerial experience
Proven experience with:
Advanced routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
Global WAN and SD-WAN technologies
Enterprise Wi-Fi infrastructure
Cloud networking in Azure and/or AWS
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage infrastructure at scale
Salary : $120,000 - $180,000
