Experience & What We're Looking For:
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of overall IT experience with 5 years of hands-on experience in Kubernetes and AWS EKS environments.
Technical Expertise:
- Deep knowledge of AWS EKS and managing Kubernetes clusters at scale.
- Strong experience in deploying and managing microservices, OpenSearch, ELK stack, APIC, and HCL Commerce within Kubernetes environments.
- Expertise in containerization using Docker, Helm charts, and Kubernetes-native tools.
- Proficient in infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Troubleshooting and Performance Tuning:
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues within Kubernetes clusters, cloud services, and application stacks.
Cloud Infrastructure:
- In-depth understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.
- Familiarity with other cloud-native tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Istio for monitoring and observability.
Scripting and Automation:
- Strong experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Shell.
- Ability to automate repetitive tasks and optimize cloud infrastructure.
