Position Overview: We are hiring 2 Meat Cutters with expertise in Mexican meat items to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality fresh meat products, ensuring excellent customer service, and helping us expand our selection of traditional Mexican meats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cut, trim, and prepare a variety of meats, including traditional Mexican cuts, according to company standards and requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Stock and display meat products attractively and in compliance with company guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with the store team to ensure excellent daily operations.
- Ensure hygiene compliance of the meat room and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a meat cutter or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of various cuts of meat and preparation techniques.
- Knowledge of Mexican meat items is essential.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and transport objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand and move for extended periods.
