Value Aluminum Windows & Doors, Inc., a leading Windows & Doors manufacturer in the Southern California area is currently hiring Production Workers in Moreno Valley, CA.
Work hours, M-F: 1st Shift: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm; 2nd shift: 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm
Summary: Operation of production machinery and assembly of aluminum windows and doors.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Responsible for various job functions within their specific department.
- Assembly of windows and doors on time, without quality defects, while working safe and keeping the work area clean and organized.
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
- Always support the Company’s vision and mission statement.
- Able to work in a manufacturing plant or warehouse facility with temperatures subject to normal environmental conditions.
- Available to work overtime as required per production demand (daily or weekends).
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment (Gloves, Masks, Safety Glasses, etc.).
- Frequent walking, standing, stooping, bending, carrying and lifting (50-75 lbs.)
- Other duties and special projects as need arises.
Experience Requirements:
- 1 year work experience in a production environment.
- Able to use and read a measure tape.
- Use of basic hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, chisels) and power tools (drills, band saw, circular saw,).
- Fast learner and be able to work in multiple job assignments within the department.
Training & Education:
- Able to read worksheets.
- Basic understanding of scanners and computers
- Basic Math skills (fractions and decimals)
- Basic reading and writing skills
