What are the responsibilities and job description for the VP Sales position at Valuelabs, Inc?
Responsibilities
- Design value propositions based on customer business and technology needs.
- GTM to align with the new-gen AI world and promote company products and services.
- Develop roadmap and strategies on a yearly basis, identifying the target market, setting the customer profile, and revenue size. Closely monitor market and competitor activity.
- Provide feedback to product and solution teams at ValueLabs based on gathered intelligence.
- Be part of executive reviews on a quarterly basis and build a team of professional hunters and farmers to bring new logos as well as maintain existing logos.
- Manage sales operations and achieve desired results within budgets. Take charge of recruiting and hiring sales staff. Motivate the sales team to achieve workplace goals.
- Develop sales training programs. Be part of executive discussions with customer CXOs to understand their business needs and yearly plans.
- Maintain long-term relationships with CXOs and act as a trusted advisor for their technology needs. Be part of MBRs and QBRs to understand client escalations, action items, and feedback.
- Design engagement models in line with customers' business plans and budgets. Improve customer satisfaction by anticipating consumer needs.
- Identify where improvements can be made and develop success-driven plans. Target Fortune 500 and other mid-sized enterprises to understand their technology needs and AI strategies.
- Match their requirements with ValueLabs product engineering services, QA, Digital, BI & DWH, and Cloud transformation solutions.
- Attend events and conferences to promote ValueLabs as well as conduct lead generation activities. Will work at various unanticipated locations throughout the US for long-term projects. Up to 50% domestic travel.
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or a directly related field plus five (5) years of sales experience.
- Must have five (5) years of experience with the following (experience may be gained concurrently) :
- Building CXO relationships in US Insurance, ISV, or Fortune 500 organizations
- Strategic thinking to merge customer business needs
- Leading and coaching cross-functional teams (sales, pre-sales, technical) for effective client relationships and maintaining strategic accounts
- Accountability for revenue growth and Client NPS
- Flexibility to design solutions on a need basis as per customer demand
