Responsibilities
- Extensive hands-on experience with Personal Lines insurance processes, products, coverages, and underwriting guidelines.
- Develop comprehensive test plans with the functional test design & execution approach.
- Develop test cases based on business requirements and system specifications.
- Execute test cases and scenarios, ensuring thorough testing coverage.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and ensure accurate testing.
- Utilize Agile methodologies to drive efficient testing processes and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Identify and escalate issues and risks, working closely with project managers and stakeholders to resolve them in a timely manner.
Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a Software QA Engineer or similar role, with a focus on testing software applications in the Property & Casualty insurance industry, particularly in Personal Lines.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, testing techniques, and best practices.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
- Solid knowledge of test management tools such as HP ALM, Jira, ADO, Rally or similar.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with keen diligence.
- Experience working in Agile environment following Onsite Offshore mode.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Any Automation tools like Selenium/UFT with hands on experience
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, INS 21/24 or Agile certifications are desirable.
