Job Responsibilities/KRAs
- 7-9 Years of experience in Oracle DB L2, production Oracle DBA in Oracle and in a Linux/UNIX/Windows environment.
- Oracle Core DBA
- Oracle Application DBA with EBS
- Strong Knowledge of RDBMS architecture.
- Leadership roles with Architecture knowledge. He/She should be one stop shop for Oracle DB activities
- Strong knowledge on UNIX/Linux/Windows to configure, maintain and monitor database instance(s)
- Working experience in a critical production environment on multiple database technologies
- Review and implement database changes.
- Knowledge of database backup procedures, recovery systems
- Performance testing and evaluation to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity. Identification of bottle necks and deadlock issues.
- Expertise in Oracle EBS R12 administration and integration.
- Advanced proficiency in PL/SQL, Shell scripting, and Python for automation.
- Proven experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.
- Oracle management tools (Data Guard, RMAN, Data pump)
- In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure) and hybrid-cloud strategies.
- Familiarity with Oracle Exadata and Oracle Autonomous Database
- Support and collaborate with product developers.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of disaster recovery plans.
- Provide timely response to system alerts and participate in the on-call schedule (if applicable)
- Sound communication skills and Interpersonal Skills
- Good understanding of load balancing and High availability (RAC) etc.
- Good understanding of operational framework like ITIL/ITSM.
- Experience and exposure to Cloud Operations is an added advantage.
- Has the ability to show initiative and be self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.

- Assess the suitability of data for storage and the best way to organize storage.
- Creates, builds, and integrates complex database systems for internal and external users/clients.
- Defines, documents, and implements standards and complicated models to monitor and improve the database's capacity and performance.
- Complex programs are coded, and logical processes are derived on technological platforms.
- Develops and monitors the implementation of test application code in client-server settings to ensure that software adheres to build management guidelines.
