Responsibilities: - Perform nursing duties within the Catheterization Lab under the guidance of the Clinical Coordinator. - Provide and evaluate comprehensive nursing care following established patient care protocols. - Implement individualized nursing care plans using the nursing process and primary nursing principles. - Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and adherence to hospital policies. - Participate in patient education and support initiatives related to catheterization procedures. Skills: - Proficient in triage procedures. - Experience in travel nursing is advantageous. - Familiarity with medical terminology and equipment such as DME (Durable Medical Equipment). - Prior exposure to working in a teaching hospital setting is beneficial. - Knowledge of Athenahealth software is a plus. - Understanding of specialized care areas like PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) and memory care. - Ability to perform tasks like spinal taps with precision.
