We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room team. Duties
- Assess and triage patients upon arrival in the Emergency Room.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform catheter care, airway management, and tube feeding when necessary.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the medical team.
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic and eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation.
- Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and emergency care practices.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in senior care settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with occupational health practices is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
