Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As an ICU nurse, you will be responsible for monitoring critically ill patients, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Duties

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
• Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions continuously.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care standards.

Skills
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:

• Two years of ICU experience; required
• RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred upon hire; must be obtained within six months of hire.
• ICU RN: Trauma Nursing Core Course issued by the Emergency Nurses Association preferred upon hire, must be obtained within six months of hire.
• ICU RN: NIH Stroke Scale Certification required. Must be obtained within six months of hire.

Pay: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
