Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse for our Medical/Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing services to patients undergoing various medical and surgical procedures. This role requires expertise in patient assessment, treatment planning, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to established standards and protocols.
- Provide care for patients requiring urgent care and pain management.
- Assist in the management of patients in a Level I Trauma Center setting.
- Utilize aseptic technique during procedures to prevent infection.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about home community care options and post-discharge instructions.
- Participate in hospice palliative medicine practices when necessary.
- Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Document all nursing interventions accurately in the patient's medical record.
Experience
Candidates must possess a valid Registered Nurse license and have experience in the following areas:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire.
- 1 year Nursing experience.
Ideal applicants will demonstrate strong clinical skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care. Experience working within a medical/surgical unit or similar healthcare environment is preferred.

Pay: $78,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
