Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the medical imaging department, ensuring compliance with protocols and procedures.
- Supervise staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to enhance team effectiveness.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate diagnostic evaluations and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper aseptic techniques are followed during imaging procedures.
- Manage scheduling of imaging appointments and ensure timely completion of scans.
- Ensure adherence to medical terminology standards and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Skills
- Associate's degree or equivalent from an approved Medical Radiographic Program.
- Advanced certification on MRI.
- At least three years of experience in MRI.
- Two years of experience as a lead tech or supervisor.
