Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our healthcare team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using specialized equipment to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Duties:
- Conduct nuclear medicine imaging procedures such as PET scans, diagnostic evaluations, and scans following established protocols.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment ensuring proper functionality and safety standards.
- Prepare radioactive drugs and administer them to patients for imaging procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnostic information.
- Maintain patient records, ensure patient comfort, and adhere to radiation safety regulations.
- Stay updated on advancements in nuclear medicine technology and techniques.
Requirements:
- Certification or Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
-Active ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology or active NMTCB (CNMT) certification.
-Vermont Nuclear Medicine Technologist license or eligibility to obtain state license.
- Experience with PET scans, diagnostic evaluations, and scans is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
