How You’ll Make An Impact

We're looking for a summer intern for our Global Pricing and Data Analytics team. The Data Analytics Intern will collaborate with Global Pricing and Analytics team members to develop an internal website that will serve as a centralized resource for accessing critical tools, data, and processes. This project will improve efficiency and enhance the user experience for team members by streamlining navigation to key analytics resources.

Valvoline Global Operations Headquarters is located in Lexington, KY. We prefer candidates willing to work an in-office work schedule (5x per week).

What Our Internship Provides

• Paid on-site summer internship (up to 12 weeks)
  
  

This Role Will Be Responsible For The Following

• Design and develop an internal website to serve as a central hub for the Global Pricing & Analytics team.
• Create and organize links to external data sources, such as S&P WorldView and S&P Connect.
• Integrate form for analytics project requests.
• Maintain an up-to-date list of current analytics assets with instructions for access.
• Build a section for training materials and contact information for analytical tools and support. Work with team members to create training materials.
• Collaborate with team members to gather additional requirements and incorporate feedback.
• Ensure the website is user-friendly, intuitive, and well-documented for future maintenance.
  
  

What You’ll Need

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Web Development, Data Analytics or a related field.
• Experience with web development technologies.
• Basic knowledge of database management and data visualization is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with stakeholders.
