How You’ll Make An Impact
The Rebate Analyst is responsible for managing and administering rebate programs, ensuring they align with company policies and contractual agreements. They analyze sales and financial data to accurately calculate and report on rebates and collaborate with sales and finance teams to track relevant data and resolve discrepancies. Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations, maintain detailed records, and facilitate payment processing and reconciliation.
Responsibilities Include
- Managing various rebate programs at a global scale, ensuring alignment with company policies and contractual agreements. Facilitate setting up and maintaining rebate agreements in the system.
- Analyzing sales and financial data to ensure rebates are calculated and accrued accurately. Preparing reports on activities and impact on overall financial performance.
- Working closely with Sales and Finance teams to ensure accurate tracking of sales data relevant to rebates and resolve discrepancies. Manage customer accounts in relation to rebates and handle any inquiries related to rebates.
- Identify opportunities to improve rebate processes for efficiency and effectiveness. Implement changes to streamline processes and reduce errors.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding programs and policies.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all rebate transactions and agreements for audit and analysis purposes
- Assist in forecasting the financial impact of rebate programs and help with budget planning.
- Owning Pricing for a business segment, as needed (i.e., Canada, OEM, etc). Responsible for maintaining pricing conditions, understanding market pricing, and resolving any issues that arise.
- BS in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Management, or related field.
- 5 years of pricing, marketing, and/or finance experience
- Strong data analysis skills, ability to analyze and interpret data
- Strong financial acumen, attention to detail
- High proficiency in data management tools, Excel, SQL, SAP, and pricing software
- Effective oral and written communication skills with an ability to efficiently communicate financial results to both financially and non-financially oriented persons.
- Initiative: originate productive actions without specific instructions; generate new ideas, processes, and approaches to meet business needs.
- Ability to be a change agent in instituting best practices to drive operational performance and effectiveness across the group.
- Strong Problem-solving abilities – aptitude for identifying issues in rebate processes and developing practical solutions
- Possesses analytical skills to conduct basic research data analysis and prepare recommendations, with an ability to formally present business strategies and action plans.
- Demonstrates logical analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Functional knowledge of financial reporting systems and methodologies for reporting using business intelligence tools is a plus.
