How You’ll Make An Impact
As an R&D Intern, you’ll play a key role in driving innovation and ensuring quality across our products. Your contributions will include:
- Performing quality control batch analysis for coolants.
- Analyzing coolant samples using advanced laboratory equipment such as HPLC, ICP, pH probes, titrations, IC, LC, GC, densitometers, refractometers, UV-Vis, and Karl Fischer.
- Conducting customer complaint and fleet sample analysis, with precise data entry into QC software.
- Supporting special laboratory projects, including method development for GC, UV-Vis, and other automotive chemical applications.
- Assisting with R&D sample analysis, helping to drive innovation in automotive products.
- Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or MBA program, entering your Junior or Senior year.
- Pursuing a degree in science-related fields such as chemistry, biology, or a similar discipline (some lab experience preferred).
- Strong analytical skills and technical aptitude
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
