• This role is a local route M-F 8 hour day shift

As a Driver / Material Handler you will drive bulk / package delivery trucks and perform various services at customer delivery locations. In addition, the employee will be expected to load / unload bulk materials to and from totes and load / unload package material from trucks. You will be required to select customer orders for shipment and assist with general cleaning and organization of the vehicles and various plant locations as needed. You are expected to perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner that prevents injury to yourself or those around you.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Drive Valvoline vehicles to customer locations and deliver Valvoline products with superior customer service and safety in mind.

Efficiently load / unload delivery trucks

Safely operate powered industrial forklifts. .

Accurately select and stage outbound shipments.

Maintain proper housekeeping / cleaning in area to ensure a safe working environment at all times

Perform other warehouse functions to support overall plant operations (tote filling, cleaning & organizing)

Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.

What You’ll Need

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum 2 years safe driving experience of commercial vehicles

Class B Commercial Driver’s License with hazardous materials and tanker endorsements required.

General knowledge of warehousing and distribution, forklift experience helpful.

Commitment to safety

General computer skills and email familiarity, good communication skills, self-motivator, positive attitude, detailed oriented and a team player.

Job requires walking, climbing, lifting 50 lbs. prolonged standing and use of applicable safety equipment. Ability to work in hot, humid, and cold environments. Must be able to discern noises such as alarms and warning lights.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
