How You’ll Make an Impact
The Demand Planner will serve as the primary point of contact with customer replenishment teams on forecast and volume planning. The successful employee will analyze various supply chain metrics such as forecast accuracy, line-item fill rate, in stock, on time, in full, and others as necessary to make recommendations on supply chain operations as well as sales and financial reporting. They will also be responsible for the presentation, communication, and execution of all items demand and supply chain related for their key accounts – across function internally and externally.
Responsibilities Include
- Maintaining forecast accuracy and critical data in OMP to support production activities and demand outcomes.
- Serving as the supply chain primary point of contact for Marketing, Finance, Sales, and Category Management.
- Leading/participating on cross functional teams to advance business outcomes.
- Leading weekly CPFR’s with external supply chain leadership to build relationships and create opportunities.
- Creating demand forecasts that go beyond a tactical period to advise leadership/finance on expected business outcomes.
- Perform ad hoc analysis in support of the business.
- Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent – Supply chain, business, statistics or related field
3 years in inventory management / business analysis
