Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to manage others (Military experience is a major plus!)
- Automotive repair center experience (three years or more preferred)
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and evenings
- Be able to stand for extended periods and climb stairs
- Have effective interpersonal, and oral communication skills
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
- Knowledge of cash handling, facility management, and safety best practices
As a Service Center General Manager, you will:
- Effectively manage individual team member’s performance through goal-setting processes, providing frequent feedback, coaching, recognition, rewards, and appropriate discipline
- Enhance skills and behaviors through setting expectations, providing frequent feedback, coaching, counseling, and arranging training
- Monitor and report upon existing staffing levels for both lube and repair centers, and evaluate future and current needs
- Assist the lube and repair center managers with attracting, assessing, and selecting talent against service center and repair center metrics
- Plan, track, and oversee store-level promotions
- Enforce business/revenue plans and capital/expense budgets for the service center and repair center
- Monitor operating data for the service center and repair center to identify opportunities for improvement
