Job Title: Field Service Low Voltage Equipment installer
Qualifications
- Low Voltage
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- NY or PA Driver’s License (Preferred)
- 2 years’ experience (Preferred)
Location: Kingston, PA
Summary: The Technician will install and service alarms, POS equipment, Surveillance systems, and network routers. The Technician will operate a company vehicle, use tools, ladders, and electronic equipment in order to successfully provide levels of security to our locations. The Technician will work with a team and will be responsible for providing an excellent customer experience and complete understanding of the equipment the customer will be using.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Installation of alarms, camera, POS, and network systems
- Troubleshooting electronic components and wiring issues
- Provide excellent customer service
- Maintain communication with necessary employees for job completion
- Timely completion of work
- Other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
- Able to drive vehicle in a safe and courteous manner
- Able to use a variety of tools, manual and electronic
- Able to wire electrical components
- Able to work overnights per company needs
- Able to climb a ladder
- Able to be trained
- Able to use various electronic devices, including but not limited to tablets, smartphones, laptops
- Proficient with software programs, including but not limited to email
- Effective written and oral communicator
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Able to work with people from a variety of ages, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds
Job Requirements
- Ability to work overtime
- Ability to be on call
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
