Interventional Radiology - Job Summary:
Primary Duties:
- Produce diagnostic-quality images by selecting exposure factors and positioning.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve issues efficiently.
- Demonstrate compassion, respect, and professionalism with patients.
- Instruct and prepare patients for exams and assist radiologists during procedures.
- Operate equipment proficiently and report malfunctions.
- Complete procedures on time, assist others, and help with room turnover.
- Ensure medication security for authorized personnel only.
Documentation & Information Management:
- Use HIS, RIS, and PACS systems effectively.
- Participate in hospital performance improvement activities.
- Maintain confidentiality with patient care information.
Requirements:
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- Two years’ experience
- NYS License (or able to obtain prior to start)
Preferred:
- VIR Certification.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $3,040.00 - $3,200.00 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
