Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare providers in delivering quality care to patients in various medical settings.
Duties
- Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting during procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories
- Administer medications under the direction of a healthcare provider
- Assist with patient education and counseling on treatment plans
- Handle administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing medical records
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols
Qualifications
- Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Experience in medical-surgical, internal medicine, dermatology, outpatient, and inpatient settings
- Ability to administer medications and perform basic coding
- Strong understanding of physiology and medication administration
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
