Overview
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Personal Care Assistants. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing direct support and care to individuals in various settings such as personal care homes, assisted living facilities, group homes, and memory care units.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Help residents with mobility and transportation needs
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Follow care plans and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals
- Support individuals with disabilities in their daily routines
Requirements
- Experience in direct support or senior care is preferred
- Ability to work with individuals in personal care homes or assisted living facilities
- Valid driver's license for transporting residents (if required)
- Knowledge of working with people with disabilities is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide compassionate care to seniors and individuals with special needs
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $19.56 - $22.59 per hour
