What are the responsibilities and job description for the Childcare Provider position at ¡Vamos! Health?
Seeking full-time private Child Care to help with three children, boy (15), girl (9) and girl (6). Looking to add extra hands and drivers to manage logistics of the family. All of our children are generally well-behaved and are used to childcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Childcare: Engage with children in stimulating activities; do not engage with social media or cell phone use while on the job
- Remind children to do chores, etc.
- Light housework: straightening up, dishes and laundry.
- Transportation: driving our teenaged son to and from school on weekdays; taking children to activities as scheduled
What are we looking for?
- 3 years experience as a nanny or childcare provider.
- Loving demeanor with ability to set firm boundaries.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- No criminal record.
- Strong references.
- Excellent driving record.
- Experience with special needs a plus.
- Ability to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, and creativity to changing needs and situations.
- High integrity.
Schedule (some flexibility throughout):
- M-F 7:30-8:30am
- M, T, Th 2:30-5:30pm; W 3-6pm; F 12-5pm
- S: flexible shift of 3-5 hrs
- Flexible: 5-10hr of housework/errands per week
