Your Role as a Manufacturing Engineer
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to ensure high standards of quality and efficiency. You will design and test automated and manual systems, develop workflows, optimize facility layouts, and integrate systems to enhance production performance. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards, resolve production challenges, train employees, and work closely with suppliers and stakeholders. This role also involves managing projects to meet objectives, budgets, and timelines.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering, with a post-graduate degree preferred. Experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or in a similar role is essential, along with familiarity with manufacturing equipment, quality assurance techniques, and fabrication methods. A strong understanding of engineering principles, tool design, and manufacturing processes is required, as is proficiency in CAD and MS Office software. Project management skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety and environmental compliance are vital. You should be a collaborative team player with the flexibility to occasionally work late shifts. Experience with MRP systems and work order creation is an added advantage.
