The
Peter Jones Laboratory
in the Department of Epigenetics
is expanding our research team for the study of bladder cancer progression. As a part-time (15-29 hours per week) Laboratory Aide, with the opportunity to move to full-time (30-40 hours per week), you will participate in projects aimed at dissecting the molecular mechanisms that drive tumor hyperproliferation after immunotherapy using in vitro and in vivo preclinical models.
A Laboratory Aide is an integral member of any laboratory. You will participate in multiple lab projects and be given the opportunity to contribute as an author to lab publications, pursue promotion, and to prepare for your next career step. The Laboratory Aide will be reporting to Josh (Hyo Sik) Jang, Ph.D., VAI Fellow.
Qualifications:
- 1 years of experience in wet lab research
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in biology, cell biology, molecular biology, or related disciplines.
Desired Skills:
- Animal research
- Biochemistry (protein extraction, Western blot)
- Molecular biology (PCR, cloning)
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Maintenance of lab notebook

Compensation and Benefits:
