Under general direction, sets up, maintains and renews commercial insurance policies; handles client inquires; issues endorsements and certificates; works with underwriters, claims adjusters and other insurer personnel; utilizes a computer to maintain records, correspondence and pending files; and maintains a high level of customer service and quality control.
Possession of a current California Insurance license is required; must attend periodic training to maintain license. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to an Associate of Arts degree (AA) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school is preferred. At least (5) years of experience as a CSR with an agency is required.
This is a hybrid position with required office work.
