Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. This is a temporary and part time position; we are looking for someone to work in the office a couple of days a week, with a start date in late March/early April, with the position terminating in July. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in office management and customer relations. This role is essential for maintaining an efficient work environment and ensuring that all administrative functions run smoothly.

Duties

  • Work closely with electrical staff members to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
  • Oversee day-to-day office functions, including answering phone calls and responding to emails.
  • Manage invoicing; accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Maintain office systems, including file management and calendar scheduling.
  • Handle vendor management tasks, including ordering materials and maintaining relationships with suppliers.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in office management or a similar role is required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in using office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • Experience with QuickBooks and/or financial management is preferred.
  • Knowledge of phone systems and vendor management practices is advantageous.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week

  • Day shift

Experience:

  • Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (Preferred)

  • Plymouth, MI 48170 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:
