Job Summary
LPN Treatment / IP Nurse primary duties are post surgical wounds and pressure injuries treatments. LPNs for this job coordinate with the wound care physician on treatment plans and documenting progress. IP will track and trend antibiotic usage by microbe. Then evaluate for any spread.
Responsibilities
- Be on Call one weekend per month.
- Conduct regular patient monitoring and observation to identify potential infection risks.
- Manage infection prevention programs and ensure compliance. Do staff competencies.
- Analyze data related to infection rates and trends, providing actionable insights to improve patient care.
- Do treatments and prophylactic treatments
- Document surgical and pressure injury progress
Requirements
- LPN with some nursing home experience
- Willingness to work toward wound care certification
- PointClickCare experience a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 per week
