KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS
Support Manager in the coordination of the AMNH Patrimony Exhibition
Monitor competition’s initiatives in Culture & Arts field
Provide increased always-on analysis and administrative support of VCA’s evolving cultural footprint in The Americas
Augment our knowledge of the educational / higher learning landscape through dedicated research
Projects :
Update Partnership Encyclopedia
Main point of contact for all clients / staff visits of the AMNH Cosmic Splendor Exhibition
Lunch & Learn format creation with our partners : Guggenheim Poetry Lunch & Learn, maybe a call with Huntington representative?
Morning briefs creation for boutiques : on our corporate partnerships?
L’ECOLE : SCHOOL OF JEWELRY ARTS
Support overseeing the operations and logistics to execute the program across the Americas
Manage inventory of L’Ecole material : bulletin, catalogs, books, invitations, brochures etc
Help prepare presentations and ensure reporting
Projects :
Support Culture & Education manager in building an inventory process of the l’Ecole materials in the US for the future (at local warehouse) >
At least one week in PRO DISPLAY
Listen to past l’Ecole conversations and identify which ones would be good for the US in the future
Help with Hamptons : the intern is legally not allowed to travel for insurance purposes, I checked with HR about this last year.
VCA OFFICE CULTURAL PROJECTS
Support Manager in building a “cultural summer” for VCA staff, leveraging all of our partnerships
Projects :
Site visits of new exhibitions
Summer culture series : Help organizing outings & Education / Cultural moments in the summer for VCA staff (museum and gallery visits, possible volunteering opportunities)
Animate the In the Loupe issue every week
Update the Arts & Culture intranet as needed
YOUR PROFILE
Currently enrolled in an accredited university / college program at the time of application.
Tech Savvy with proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
An innovative thinker with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
At your core, a team player who is excited to shine, as well as empower and assist others to achieve success
Energetic and eager to assist on projects and initiatives
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to read texts written in script / cursive
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with self-motivation and a proactive approach are needed
Excellent organization skill with accurate attention to detail is required
Able to work a full-time schedule throughout the course of our Summer Internship Program
Authorized to work in the United States; International students must have a current work visa, Richemont North America will not sponsor work visas for summer internships
Must be age 18 or older to participate
Must be available to participate for the entirety of internship program (June 2nd - August 8th)
