Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Underground Utility Pipe Foreman Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various construction projects by ensuring that all utility services are efficiently managed and maintained.
Duties
- Manage and oversee utility operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Interpret and work with schematics to assist in the installation and maintenance of utility systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of pipelines and utility lines to identify issues or areas needing repair.
- Supervise team members during project scheduling and execution, ensuring tasks are completed on time.
- Employ tools such as an ohmmeter for testing electrical systems and ensuring functionality.
- Adhere to OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in utility management or related field is preferred.
- Pipe Laying experience
- Strong understanding of schematics related to utility systems.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and pipeline safety practices.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Experience in project scheduling is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
