We provide a family- oriented company and an opportunity to grow professionally and personally.JOB OVERVIEW : The Sanitation Operator is responsible for detailed cleaning of the manufacturing and processing equipment ensuring that it is properly cleaned and sanitized according to facility cleaning standards. The Sanitation Operator prepares cleaned and sanitized equipment following all plant SSOPs, GMPs and plant safety rules so that it is ready for processing.Schedule : Tuesday - Saturday, 6am - 2 : 30pm, overtime as requiredLocation : Strongheart FacilityDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Completes necessary documentation regarding production, safety, and quality.Ability to read sanitation standard operating procedures (SSOPs).Possesses the knowledge and ability to safely work with various types of cleaning equipment and chemicals.Possess advanced knowledge and ability to work with and clean various types of production equipment to perform complex assembling, shutdown, and disassembling.Operates production machines and equipment.Completes routine quality checks and associated paperwork.Maintains and clean work areas including all contact surfaces.Performs Lock Out / Tag Out duties as required.Trains others on various types of production equipment to perform basic and complex equipment adjustments.Transports / handles material to storage area using powered equipment (Forklift Certified)Performs duties in a safe and secure manner.Works in various areas as assigned, including Production Operator duties, as needed.Demonstrates advanced knowledge in sanitation and machine safety procedures.Inspects production areas and equipment for compliance in quality, safety, GMP and sanitation standards.Signs and / or verify QA and non-QA sanitation paperwork.Performs other duties as assigned.JOB EXPERIENCE : At least 6 months of previous production experience required or equivalent combination of related experience, education, and training.Previous forklift experience a plus.KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS : Basic writing / reading skills preferred. Basic computer skills and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) scanner or desktop use may be required in certain plants or work areas.{=html} - Create shift reports, record documentation, and internal communication documents. Analyze basic data to communicate performance using charts and graphs. - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Count items and report weights accurately.
