Van Dyk Park Place- Assisted Living is interviewing for a Porter / Utility person in our Kitchen : Address : 644 Goffle Rd, Hawthorne, NJ
Pay Rate : $15.49 p / h Shift : 7a-3p / 11a-7p

ABILITY
- Assures that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
- Develops and maintains a good working rapport with interdepartmental personnel, as well as other departments within the facility to assure that food service can be properly maintained to meet the needs of the residents.
- Assists in daily and scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Works the dishwashing station as needed and maintains all temperature logs
- Cleans work areas, refrigerators, freezers, etc. as assigned and maintains all temperature logs
- Organizes stock rooms and walk-in refrigerators and freezers
- Puts away inventory from deliveries
- Returns clean utensils to proper storage areas.
- Attends and participates in in-service education programs.
- Prepares food, etc. in accordance with sanitary regulations, as well as our established policies and procedures.
- Ensures that safety regulations are always followed.
- Follows established infection / exposure control and universal precautions policies and procedures when performing daily tasks.
- Assures that the department is maintained in a clean and safe manner by assuring that necessary equipment and supplies are maintained to perform such duties / services.
- Reports all hazardous conditions / equipment to the executive chef and or administration.
- Performs other related duties as required, or as may be directed
