Job Summary:
We are seeking a responsible and attentive Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of all patrons at our facility. The Lifeguard will be responsible for monitoring pool activities, enforcing safety regulations, and responding to emergencies. This is a vital role in maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor pool activities to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of all guests
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain order and discipline
- Respond quickly and effectively to any emergencies or incidents in the pool area
- Provide excellent guest service by assisting with inquiries, providing information, and addressing concerns
- Perform routine pool cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a clean and sanitary environment
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool area and equipment to identify any potential hazards or maintenance needs
- Administer first aid or CPR as necessary until medical professionals arrive
- Assist with heavy lifting or moving of equipment as needed
Skills:
- Strong swimming skills and ability to perform rescues in various water depths
- Current CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certifications
-Pool is full sized pool so please no shallow water certified applicants.
- Knowledge of pool cleaning techniques and maintenance procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests of all ages
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and swim for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail to identify potential hazards or rule violations
