Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented PAVE Production Coordinator to manage the preparation, planning, and execution of project work in support of Van Ert Electric construction projects and PAVE Manufacturing. This role involves managing quoting systems, conducting time studies, developing the ERP system, and ensuring efficient production planning and resource management. The ideal candidate will play a key role in improving production efficiency, controlling costs, and coordinating work to meet delivery dates.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in electronics or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in project management and custom equipment design, preferably in an electrical contracting or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with fabrication tools and processes, as well as CAD work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a manufacturing setting.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop and implement a quoting system to speed up the quotation process.
- Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in ERP for production, timekeeping, and quoting.
- Conduct time studies to improve the accuracy of job duration estimates and quotation processes.
- Coordinate schedules and resources for projects to meet delivery deadlines.
- Assist in the development of a Quality Management System to ensure product quality and foster continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with engineers, detailers, and management to design custom solutions for electrical components and enclosures.
- Participate in evaluating and upgrading manufacturing facilities and equipment.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to execute fabrication requirements.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
