Van Leeuwen Ice Cream is hiring a full time, temporary Delivery Driver based out of warehouse in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. This is a great opportunity for a highly experienced Driver to work closely with the growing team of Van Leeuwen Ice Cream as the company embarks on its next stage of growth. The ideal candidate is someone who is organized, excels in self-management, punctual, enjoys problem solving, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment (and loves ice cream!).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pick up and deliver product at the start of each shift based on store needs / order sheets
- Organize delivery vehicle for maximum delivery optimization
- Deliver product to New York Retail stores and properly organize product in each location
- Maintain accurate order sheets
- Maintain a well-organized and tightly-run delivery schedule
- Make wholesale runs across the Tri-state area
- Drive safely while following all local motor-vehicle laws
JOB REQUIREMENTS
This position may require a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
