We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable individual who is passionate about providing great customer service as a Part-Time Retail Store Chocolate Consultant at our store in Wolfeboro NH.

This is an ideal part-time job for someone looking to work approximately 10 to 30 hours a week, depending on the season. More hours will be required in summer / early fall and less hours will be available November through May. Some weekend shifts are required.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Ensure an outstanding shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service

- Assist with opening and closing store

- Greet customers and ascertain what each customer wants or needs

- Describe merchandise and explain features and benefits to customers

- Offer samples and make buying recommendations

- Maintain proper knowledge of products, sales, promotions and policies

- Help customers behind the candy case and check out customers at the cash register

- Help customers on the phone

- Stock and label products

- Assist with managing product shelf life and inventory

- Bag candy and build gift baskets as needed

- Take care of daily cleaning duties

- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time

Required Qualifications

- Motivated, friendly, and dependable team player; used to wearing many hats in a small
company environment

- Previous retail and customer service experience a plus

- Quick learner, flexible and able to switch tasks and direction as necessary

- Able to multi-task well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

- Able to uphold standards of personal and workplace cleanliness

- Able to receive constructive criticism and strive to improve areas of weakness

- Good communication and organizational skills

- Computer savvy a plus

- Able to lift and carry 50lbs; ability to be on feet all day

- Must love chocolate/candy and be willing to taste samples frequently for QC purposes

Hours and Shift Expectations

- Must be able to work retail hours as well as weekends and holidays

- Must be flexible with weekly work schedule, depending on time of the year

- If required, must be able to work overtime during summer and candy holidays

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
