Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the application and leasing process for residential properties, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations, and providing exceptional service to prospective tenants. This role requires strong negotiation skills and a solid understanding of property management practices, including LIHTC and Section 8 programs.
Duties
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
- Manage the leasing process from application to move-in, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
- Maintain knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and ensure compliance in all leasing activities.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective residents through effective customer relationship management.
- Assist in negotiating lease terms and conditions to meet both tenant needs and property management goals.
- Utilize OneSite or similar property management software for tracking applications, leases, and tenant communications.
- Provide administrative support related to leasing activities, including legal documentation and office tasks.
- Collaborate with the property management team to implement marketing strategies that attract new tenants.
Skills
- Strong understanding of Fair Housing regulations and compliance practices.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes.
- Proficient in customer relationship management techniques to enhance tenant satisfaction.
- Minimum 2 years experience ( Tax Credit) programs and Section 8 housing assistance.
- Experience with legal administrative tasks related to leasing agreements and tenant relations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in an office environment.
- Sales experience is a plus, particularly in real estate or property management settings.
- Proficiency in OneSite or similar real estate administrative software is preferred.
