QUALIFICATIONS
An Assistant Site Manager must possess the following essential requirements:
· Good human relations skills and the ability to work well with others
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Proficiency with PC systems and Microsoft Office software
· Ability to display professional behavior and dress as required by Van Rooy
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Assistant Site Manager is responsible for assisting the Site Manager in maintaining occupancy goals including maintaining annual certifications and renewals. Knowledge of section 8 program a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES
Leasing
o Prepare all weekly and monthly reports
o Preparation and process leases and related forms, oversee the collection of rents and resolve all delinquency matters
o Resolve resident complaints, guideline violations and other issues
o Make recommendations for and assist in the preparation of marketing and advertising programs
Other
o Maintain a working knowledge of all fair housing laws, its policies and practices and be fair and consistent in upholding these and all company policies
o Maintain a working knowledge of all Section 8 & 42 policies and practices
o Ensure that staff adheres to all OSHA regulations and any applicable laws regarding health, safety and environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
