Responsibilities
- Assist prospective tenants with inquiries regarding available properties and leasing options.
- Conduct property tours and showcase features to potential renters.
- Manage the application process, including collecting necessary documentation and screening applicants.
- Maintain accurate records of leases, tenant information, and property maintenance requests.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations throughout the leasing process.
- Utilize property management software such as Yardi or OneSite for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address tenant concerns promptly.
- Stay informed about local laws related to property leasing and Section 8 housing programs.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and legal administrative practices related to real estate.
- Proficiency in property leasing processes and documentation management.
- Experience with OneSite software is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with tenants and team members.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate files and records.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Familiarity with property maintenance procedures is a plus.
