Maintenance Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of an apartment community in Lee's Summit MO. The ideal candidate will possess HVAC certification, electrical, plumbing, carpentry skills and time management, This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance management, effective project management skills, and the ability to lead a team of maintenance professionals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• HVAC Certification
• Conduct regular inspections of the community and equipment to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
• Manage maintenance projects work orders and make readies from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Train and mentor team members on best practices in industrial maintenance and facilities management.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
• Pro-active vendor and tenant relationships

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintenance management within an apartment / rental community setting
• HVAC certification required
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues logically.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
