Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of equipment and facilities through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance on apartments and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC using tools such as an Ohmmeter.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Fabricate parts as needed to support repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Lead small teams during maintenance projects, providing guidance and support as necessary.
- Execute residential painting tasks when required to maintain facility aesthetics.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance activities.
Experience
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance roles.
- HVAC and pool certification.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Proficient in English for effective communication within the team and documentation purposes.
- Previous experience utilizing CMMS is a plus.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
