Van Stavern Small Animal Hospital is looking for responsible and caring employees to join our team. This is a part-time position with future transition to full-time possible. The position requires attention to detail and organizational skills, excellent communication skills (both telephone and in-person), and the ability to multitask.
Applicants must be willing to perform all job tasks, including, but not limited to, drawing blood samples, running lab equipment, administering medications, monitoring anesthesia (BP, HR, SPO2, RR, CO2, etc.), knowledge of preventative care, assisting and communicating with clients and other veterinary professionals, and some heavy lifting. Knowledge of medications and what they treat and/or prevent preferred. The job will include some weekends, holidays, and evening hours.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
