Van Stone Conveyor, Inc. is the world's leading manufacturer of conveyors and related equipment for transporting rafts and tubes for watersides and other water rides in amusement parks and waterparks. We are in need of Field Service Technicians for full time employment. The job requires 80-100% international and domestic travel and involves the field supervision of our customer's installation crews. To succeed you must have extensive experience with all things mechanical.

You should have lots of grease under your fingernails and know what Snap-On is. This is not a job for the faint-of-heart. You will spend many many days away from home living in a hotel. You will often be asked to drop whatever you are doing and take a 30 hour plane flight to the other side of the world, where the weather will be hot or humid or raining or all three! You should be comfortable eating crickets and snake heads. (Just kidding, most places in China serve chicken and pork)

This job is all about being able to think on your feet and being able to pivot and excel when the odds are against you. This is a job for a Mahomes, not a Garappolo. And if you always need to get instructions from "the front office" before you act, this isn't the job for you.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
Associates Degree / Certification in Technical field is a plus
Experience with Electro/Mechanical equipment.
Experience with Conveyor Belt Systems.
Excellent customer relations skills.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly.
Must be proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
-Perform installation, overhaul, and/or repair equipment at customer facilities across the United States and the world.
-Performs maintenance using tools, test equipment, etc., and completes document of all installations, inspections, maintenance and repair work, and failures.
-Performs trial runs, investigative tests, repairs and overhauls
-Performs product and service training to customer personnel; performs service calls and interfaces with customer personnel to provide quality service and feedback on problem evaluation and resolution.
-Performs assessment of product/equipment performance based on field support data and recommends modifications or improvements.
