This is a full time year round position with overtime hours in spring.
You must be able to work both weekend days in spring and 1 weekend day for the rest of the year.
Responsibilities include:
- Retail cashiering
- Assisting customers both on the phone and in person
- Price marking and merchandising displays
- Training and assisting seasonal cashiers as needed
- Balancing registers
- Opening / closing the store
- Receive merchandise into inventory
- Assist in periodic inventory checks
- Support cashiers with guidance on transaction processing and system glitches

- Have excellent interpersonal skills for both worker and customer interaction
- Be computer savvy
- Be dexterous - able to be fast and efficient in cashiering
- Have a willingness to learn and be part of a great team
- Be able to do some job related physical lifting and bending
- Be high energy and upbeat
- Be detail orientated
- Have high standards for organization and cleanliness
- Be reliable with respect to job attendance and timeliness
