Full-time/1st Shift (M-F) Air-conditioned facility.
Position Summary:
As a Finishing operator, your primary responsibility is to assist in various finishing processes, including running the hydraulic press, deburring, reaming, cleaning, stamping, black oxiding, setscrewing, and packaging parts to prepare them for final assembly or shipment. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment. You will collaborate closely with team members and supervisors to meet production goals while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. You must have a strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency in reading blueprints, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Job Qualifications:
· Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow instructions.
· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where limited standardization exists.
· Strong understanding of various hand tools, with the ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
· Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, processes, and procedures related to manufacturing and product finishing.
· Keen eye for detail to detect any defects or irregularities in machined parts.
· Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
· Commitment to adhering to safety standards, procedures, and their continuous improvement.
Work requirements:
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and team lifting when over that amount.
- Occasionally bend, stoop, squat, reach, or twist.
- Occasionally sit, stand, or walk.
- Occasionally grasp, push/pull, or perform other finger and hand manipulations.
- Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and toxic or caustic chemicals.
Technical requirements:
· High School Diploma or Equivalent: Basic education requirement to comprehend work instructions and safety guidelines.
· Previous experience operating various hand tools, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
· Basic knowledge and use of precision measuring tools.
· General knowledge of material types/grades and their characteristics.
Basic computer knowledge for efficiently navigating the shop floor control software.
