Job description
General Labor / Paint Line Load & Unload
Day shift (7:00 am-3:30 p.m.) (with overtime available as early as 4 or 5 a.m. and weekends)
Job duties to include:
- Loading & Unloading overhead conveyor
- Preparing sheet metal parts for painting
- Inspect Quality of painted parts
- Label & package finished parts
- Using hand held tools (screwdrivers, air powered or electric)
- Assembly
It's hot in the plant – work is near industrial ovens. Smoking IS allowed in plant. Long pants, closed toed shoes required. Must have reliable transportation and/or ability to get to work on time every day!
Requirements:
To be considered, Applicants for this position must:
- Be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers;
- Must be able to move with appropriate speed and urgency;
- Be able to lift 50-75 lbs, stand, walk, sit, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, reach and perform repetitive hand and finger movements;
- Be able to work in cold or hot temperatures in plant.
- Must have some mechanical ability. Will train to read drawings! Opportunities for cross training and advancement.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
Supplemental Pay:
- Overtime pay
